The containerized filtration system has been launched at E.ON’s Livorno Ferraris (VC) thermoelectric power plant.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF THE PLANT
The plant filters canal water at a flow rate of 54 mc/h with self-cleaning filters having the following sequence:
- First filtration step 500 microns
- Second filtration step 80 microns
- Third filtration step 10 microns
- Fourth filtration step 1 micron
The plant will operate with a maximum SST concentration of 250 mg/l. The guaranteed filtration efficiency is 90% for particles ≥ 2 microns.
