SCR Self-cleaning filter
Today we show you the internal cleaning system for the SCR filter.
FILTER ELEMENT SECTION AND CLEANING SYSTEM
FILTRATION PHASE
During the filtration phase, the fluid (water) passes through the filter element from the inside to the outside, retaining all suspended solids larger than or equal to the installed filtration degree. The continuous deposition of suspended solids inside the filter cylinder creates an impediment to the passage of water, which translates into a pressure difference (∆P).

WASHING PHASE
At a set value of ∆P (adjustable 0.3 ÷ 1 Bar), the automatic cleaning cycle of the filter cylinder takes place. This operation starts with a signal that opens the drain valve, and connects the suction nozzles with the external environment. At the same time, the electric motor creates a rotational movement that allows the nozzles to inspect the entire filtering surface, washing a small portion at a time. This allows for very high washing efficiencies and limited portions of water in discharge. The dirt is evacuated through the drain valve. The cleaning cycle lasts approximately 15/20 seconds.
