Low Fouling, High Pressure Reverse Osmosis Membranes.

PRO-LF are spiral wound RO membranes which are neutrally charged and have a hydrophilic coating to minimize fouling while treating high salinity wastewaters. The resistance to fouling exhibited by PRO-LF membranes is an important feature in the treatment of industrial wastewaters from coal to chemical plants, mines, tanneries and textile factories.

Extra Ion Selectivity Nanofiltration Membranes.

PRO-XS are charged nanofiltration membranes with high ion selectivity which provide high rejection of bivalent cations and anions to selectively remove and concentrate the ions to produce industrial grade chemicals like Glauber’s salt, hardness free NaCl, Na2CO3 etc.

The ability to separate salts in the brine helps to reduce the amount of mixed salt wastes going to landfill and the purified salts produced, can be recycled or sold at a profit. PRO-XS membranes are useful in industries where salt separation is critical like chlor alkali, textiles, electroplating and dye.

Ultra High-Pressure Reverse Osmosis Membranes.

PRO-XP are ultra high-pressure RO membranes which can can treat high TDS feed water and concentrate it up to 120,000 ppm (12%) while operating at pressures up to 1,800 psi (12.4 MPa). In a ZLD system, the PRO-XP is applied upstream of evaporators, to reduce the CAPEX and OPEX of downstream thermal equipments.

PRO-XP increases the overall efficiency of the treatment facility by reducing the cost of brine concentration and maximizing water recovery. PRO-XP membranes are useful in coal to chemicals, mining, power plants, textiles and tanneries. The PRO-XP elements are currently in the final stage of their development and will be launched soon.

High Temperature Reverse Osmosis Membranes.

PRO-XT are high-temperature RO membranes which are considered a breakthrough in membrane operating parameters. Treatment of water and wastewater at high temperatures is now a possibility with PRO-XT membranes.

PRO-XT membranes are useful in industries where stable operation at high temperatures is imperative like laundry wastewater reclamation, mining wastewater, produced water in oil & gas industry, etc.

SWC5 membranes provide optimum salt rejection and permeate flows. They are chosen when lower permeate TDS and lower feed pressures are needed. SWC5 membranes offer highest energy efficiency at lowest costs and are used in mega desalination plants.

SWC5 membranes are available in two different types of variants, LD and MAX.

• Low differential LD Technology® models are offered to minimize colloidal fouling when used with conventional pre-treatment equipment. They offer consistently low feed pressures and highest duration between two successive cleanings.
• The MAX models have a 440 ft2 (40.9 m2) active membrane surface area. They provide excellent performance with high TDS and boron removal from warm waters.

SWC6 are the lowest feed pressure membranes offering low energy consumption. They are preferred when the seawater feed temperature is lower which requires high feed pressures. SWC6 membranes result in low energy consumption and lower treatment costs.

SWC6 membranes are available in two different types of variants, LD and MAX.

• Low differential LD Technology® models are offered to minimize colloidal fouling when used with conventional pre-treatment equipment. They offer consistently low feed pressures and highest duration between two successive cleanings.
• The MAX models have a 440 ft2 (40.9 m2) active membrane surface area. They provide excellent performance with high TDS and boron removal from warm waters.

ESPA2 membranes provide optimum salt rejection and permeate flows. They are chosen when lower permeate TDS and lower feed pressures are needed.

ESPA2 membranes offer highest energy efficiency at lowest costs and are used in large municipal wastewater reclamation plants.
ESPAB are low pressure brackish water membranes having a high rejection for boron.

ESPA2-LD membrane is available in diameters of 4.0 and 8.0 inches. The ESPA2 membranes are available in the LD variant. Low differential LD Technology® models are offered to minimize colloidal fouling when used with conventional pre-treatment equipment. These membranes offer consistently low feed pressures and longer intervals between cleanings.

ESPA2 and ESPAB membranes are available in the MAX variant with 440 ft2 (40.9 m2) active membrane surface area. Increased membrane area reduces capital costs by requiring fewer pressure vessels and less floor space.

Innovations have enabled us to offer the ESPA2-LD MAX membranes which have a membrane area of 440 ft2 (40.9 m2) and use 34 mil feed spacer.

ESPA4 are the lowest feed pressure membranes offering low energy consumption.

ESPA4 membranes require ultra-low pressures without compromising high salt rejection and are commonly used in the second pass of a reverse osmosis system.

ESPA4-LD HP are high flux membranes offering low energy consumption without compromising on high rejection. These membranes have:

• an active membrane area of 400 ft2 (37.2 m2)
• 34 mil brine spacer thickness
• high pressure construction for operation up to 1200 psi (8.27 MPa) to allow greater concentration of feed solution.

ESPA4 membranes are available in the MAX variant with 440 ft2 (40.9 m2) active membrane surface area. Increased membrane area reduces capital costs by requiring fewer pressure vessels and less floor space.

CPA3 is the third generation CPA high rejection brackish water RO membrane introduced in the late 1990’s. This membrane at 99.7% rejection is an upgrade to the CPA2 with 10% more membrane area (400 square feet). This resulted in reduced capital costs by requiring fewer pressure vessels and less floor space.
CPA3 membranes also have a thicker (34 mil) feed spacer that exhibits higher tolerance to feed water suspended solids. CPA3 membrane is available in diameters of 8.0 inches.

CPA5-LD is the fourth generation CPA high rejection brackish water RO membrane. This 400 sq. ft. membrane with 99.7% rejection was an upgrade to the CPA3 membrane as it is designed with Low Differential Pressure LDTM. It offers the improved rejection of all ions including silica and nitrates.
CPA5-LD membranes use a patented 34 mil thickness feed spacer that increases effectiveness of membrane cleaning. As a result, the CPA5-LD membrane does not need to be cleaned frequently – thus reducing treatment cost – while offering extreme durability and consistent performance. CPA5-MAX membranes have 440 square feet of membrane area and are well suited for polishing RO and low fouling applications. This increased membrane area can reduce capital costs by requiring fewer pressure vessels and less floor space. CPA5-LD membrane is available in diameters of 4.0 and 8.0 inches and the CPA5-MAX membrane is available in 8.0 inch diameter.

CPA6-LD is the fifth generation CPA brackish water RO membrane and has the best rejection of all of its predecessors at 99.8%. This 400 sq. ft. membrane operates at a higher feed pressure than CPA5-LD but it has the highest rejection in the CPA family.
CPA6-LD membranes are designed with Low Differential Pressure LDTM Technology designed to minimize colloidal fouling. They have 37.0 m2 (400 ft2) membrane area. Using CPA6-LD results in cost saving while still getting a high rejection from membranes. CPA6-MAX has the same high rejection membrane of CPA6-LD, but features a 10% increase in membrane area at 440 sq.ft. CPA6 MAX is a preferred choice for feed waters of low turbidity and silt density index such as brackish well waters. CPA6-LD and CPA6-MAX membranes are available in diameters of 8.0 inches only.

The CPA7 series are the newest CPA brackish water RO membranes offering the highest salt rejection in the industry. These ultra-high rejection RO membranes are meant to fulfil your purest water quality requirements.
Where ultra-high purity water is required under difficult water conditions, the CPA7 membranes supply the best combination of high rejection and high flow capability in a brackish water RO element, compared to all commercial brackish water RO elements The LD variant of these membranes using LD Technology® are available in 4” (CPA7-LD-4040) and 8” (CPA7-LD) diameters. The CPA7 MAX membrane has an active membrane surface area of 440 ft2 (40.9 m2) which reduces capital costs by requiring fewer pressure vessels and lesser floor space.
